8bit Gospel: A Virtual Series for Students & Parents

With current events and recommendations from the Center of Disease Control, we will be hosting Youth Ministry virtually for the next few weeks. This gives us a unique opportunity to not only teach students, but parents as well, and hopefully spur on conversations that may not otherwise happen. So sit back, crack open your Bible, and join us in studying the Word.

Scheduled: Wednesday, March 25 @ 7:30 PM

Camp Forms!

Hey parents, we've got some FAQs, maps, and packing lists as well as the medical consent form we will need for every student attending the camp.

Whether or not you are going to camp, please let me know tshirt sizes you would like. The shirts we order run slightly small and range small to XXL.

Once you have the Medical Consent form and t-shirt size, please email at cale@crossculture.church

"If God is loving, why do bad things happen?"
"What happens to people who don't believe in God because they never heard about Him?"
"Someone told me that the whole world will be destroyed and then made again. Is that true?"
Their questions (and more) tumbled over each other. Many students were leaning forward, hopeful that they could get answers or that they could help someone find some. A night of earnest, if not hectic study and discussion. Study and discussion like this is an increasing focus on Wednesday nights with the Cross Culture Student Ministry.

Teenagers ask questions. Fact! Deeper, more abstract questions are surfacing. The process of seeking and finding answers is pivotal to claiming faith that is personal. Known. This quest leads eager minds to ask WHY you believe what you believe. Whether you come from a Christian background or not, the search for meaning, truth, and stability in a seemingly unstable world is a journey every person sets foot on. You're not alone.

We take this journey seriously. We believe that Jesus is "the Way, the Truth, and the Life." We believe that it is the healthy "fear of the LORD" that is the beginning of wisdom. We believe there is a reason that every generation seeks truth to found the rest of their lives on. Jesus said that we are to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded them." People matter. Truth is real. Faith is real. Let's walk together on this journey.

The Cross Culture Student Ministry meets at a few different host homes each month on Wednesday nights. We play a game, sing songs, study the Scriptures, and often have something to snack on! If you're a parent with questions about the ministry or what it might look like for your teen (6-12th grade) to attend, or if you're a student with questions or seeking people who are willing to search out answers, feel free to reach out!

May God guide you to deeper faith and firmer ground.

Get ready for Camp 2020!

"Nearly half of all Americans who accept Jesus Christ as their savior do so before reaching the age of 13 (43%)" ~Barna Group

Student camp isn't about just giving kids something to do during the summer; it's about cultivating their relationships with Christ in an environment that fosters leadership, independence, and accountability. The fact that students have a blast while they're at camp is just an added benefit!

Camp 2019 was a success!

This year we were blessed to have 32 kids and counselors attend camp. This was an amazing leap over the 19 we had in 2017 and we pray that in 2020 God will make room for even more students.

Pastor Cale was able to teach students what it was about to be Warriors in Christ in this world: facing the enemy from both within ones self and within the world; and most importantly, where Jesus plays a vital role in changing the world.

If you have questions about camp this year or next year, email Cale Little at cale@crossculture.church!
