What we believe
We may never understand everything about God, but He has invited us to know Him. God has told us about Himself through His Word, the Bible. We believe the Bible is a perfect record of God’s revelation to man and is applicable for every area of our lives.
We want you to know that it doesn't matter who you are, where you're from, how many times you've been to church or even if you believe in God. We're just excited that you're here. To give you a better idea of who we are, we think you should know what we believe. After all, being honest and transparent is the best foundation for relationships.
You may agree with what we believe or you may not, but at least you will know where we stand. If you have a question, please ask us. We don't claim to have all the answers, but we believe in the God who does.
Connect to our Culture from a Christ-Centered Calling
“After Jesus had greeted them again, he said, "I am sending you, just as the Father has sent me.” (Jn 20:21 CEV)
“For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mk 10:45 NLT)
“For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.” (1 Cor 2:2 NIV)
In the postmodern culture, everyone is looking for "it" but no one seems to know where to find "it". All people search for peace, purpose, and hope in their lives. Unfortunately, many are not sure anything or anyone can give them what they're looking for.
Enter Cross Culture Church. We are a community of believers where Jesus is revealed in the lives of each person. Our desire is to be used by God to show people that a life built on the finished work of Christ on the cross is where they will find what they are searching for. We strive to live out Jesus' words: "If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it." (Matthew 16:25)
We want to make an impact by taking the cross to our culture, and taking our culture to the cross. At Cross Culture Church, we experience the liberating, satisfying, life-changing power of the cross and it is our desire to bring that power to a culture in need of freedom, joy, and hope.
