Cross Culture Kids

We believe that God created each child to know and enjoy Him. That is what Cross Culture Kids is all about. We provide a safe, loving, fun place for children. It is a place where children can participate in a worship service designed for them – a high-energy, creative and exciting experience that they feel comfortable joining in.

We also have Family Worship once a month. This is a unique opportunity for children and parents to worship together. As the corporate worship transitions into the message, the kids split off with our awesome coaches to interactively study the Word of God. Protecting our children is important to us. That is why all Cross Culture Kids coaches must be screened, interviewed and trained. For more information please email Coral McDonald, Cross Culture Kids' Director.

Fun Events

Passion Week Reenactment:
Several years back, Cross Culture planned an Easter event that was pretty much like every other secular event. Lots of plastic eggs, lots of candy, lots of parents/kids, and lots of chaos. No true Easter message in sight. Then something that could only be the inspiration of the Holy Spirit settled on us in the following years' "planning meeting." We decided to reenact the Passion Week, tailoring it for all ages.
The children view and actually participate in the Triumphal Entry, the Last Supper, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Crucifixion, and most important of all, the Empty Tomb. This is the true celebration of Easter. This is what our Faith rests on; it's what sets Christianity apart from every other religion. "For GOD so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16 NIV
Grace Girls
An idea came to our Children’s Director to have an event that would bring moms and daughters together, as they learn how to live like a princess from the inside out. That was how the event ‘Grace Girl’ was born.

The event consisted of games, craft time, dance party and tons of other fun things. But most importantly moms and daughters leaned about grace that was a gift and it is free, that being a girl is something special. My girls and I learned about forgiveness, for we were created for a purpose and with a purpose. We are all princesses, because we are children of a King. On a daily basis our society teaches us that we should only be concern about outer beauty and pay little attention to what’s on the inside.

Testimony from our Coaches

I'm called by our Lord to teach these little ones. This is a tremendous responsibility, one that I don't take lightly. I learn alongside them; I marvel at their insight; I pray for them continually, as I watch them grow. What a blessing and a privilege God has bestowed on me.  My prayer to the Lord is that I see them as He sees them.  But Jesus called the children to him, and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Luke 18:16 NIV

I love serving in Cross Culture Kids because of how much I learn! Every time I prepare a lesson I glean something new from the story! During the lesson it never fails that a child will make a connection I had never considered and the Lord will teach me something brand new. The kids will ask questions that I cannot answer, and I will be called to dig further into the text seeking truth. To be entrusted with teaching our precious children is not a privilege that I take lightly! What a tremendous blessing they are to me!

Serving in Cross Culture Kids is truly a blessing. I think that I learn more from the kids than they do from me. To see their expression as they connect the craft and activity to the story and realize who God is and what He has done for them is an amazing thing. Being apart of a ministry that is constantly seeking ways to bring the love of Christ to kids in a way that they can understand is quite fulfilling. I can see seeds being planted and I can’t wait to see their fruits.
